I’m Polly — a wedding DJ based in Düsseldorf. I’ve been behind the decks since 2019 and have played more than 500 celebrations. My home base is North Rhine-Westphalia, but I regularly play in Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin, on Sylt and Juist, and wherever you celebrate: in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy or Croatia.
Before I play for you, we get to know each other. In our consultation we go through the running order, music wishes and no-gos. On the night I read the dance floor instead of playing a pre-made playlist, and host in German, English or Russian if you’d like. That keeps the dance floor full until the lights come on.
Every wedding is different — the framework stays the same. So you know what to expect.
Subtle background music while your guests arrive. Loud enough to feel lively, quiet enough for everyone to talk.
Relaxed sets during the meal. I keep an eye on the schedule and adapt the music when speeches or other moments come up.
Your song, played cleanly, with a smooth transition into the first song for everyone. If you like, I’ll edit the track to match your choreography.
From here on I read the dance floor. No pre-planned standard set, but whatever works for your guests — right to the very end.
You don’t need to organise, rent or talk to anyone else. If you add the equipment package, I’ll bring:
Listen in
From the ceremony to the last song: this is what a day with me sounds like. Listen to what works at my weddings — we’ll talk about your own wishes in our consultation.
Clicking a cover loads the Spotify player and transfers data to Spotify (privacy policy). You’ll find all playlists on my Spotify profile.
I’ve played the piano since I was a child — so I know what a live instrument does to a room. On request, live musicians join my DJ sets: saxophone, violin, percussion or piano. I’ve played weddings and events with all of them, and I only work with hand-picked artists I trust. Between us we speak German, English, Russian and Croatian, ideal for international wedding parties.
Ceremony, reception, dinner or party: the musicians play live over my sets, improvise freely and, if you like, we rehearse your song specially, for example for the entrance or the first dance. It works best at the reception, when guests arrive, and later on the dance floor, where a live instrument turns a good set into a moment people still talk about the next day.
You can book single parts of the day — around three hours for the reception, with a small separate sound system if the ceremony or drinks reception is at another location — or the whole celebration from reception through dinner into the party. We agree in advance which line-up suits you and when they play.
A trained saxophonist who has played many weddings with me — from the drinks reception to late on the dance floor.
Emotional for the ceremony and first dance, surprisingly powerful over house sets on the dance floor.
Live drums over the DJ set: extra energy when the party really gets going.
Calm and elegant for reception and dinner — the switch to the party feels all the stronger afterwards.
Everything from one source — no extra supplier to find, brief and coordinate. Music, equipment and styling all come from us, with one contact person.
Photo booth with instant prints: your guests take their picture home straight away. Afterwards you also get all shots as a digital download. We take care of setup and teardown.
Beyond the lighting in the equipment package, available in several packages — including Astera tubes: wireless, placeable anywhere in the room and in your colour, so it’s not just the dance floor that has atmosphere, but the whole room. We’ll tell you honestly beforehand what’s worth it at your venue.
From table decor to full styling, from A to Z. This runs through Pollyvents: concept, florals, table design and lighting, tailored to your venue and your style.
Concept, florals, table design, lighting and schedule: with Pollyvents I plan and design weddings, destination weddings on the coast near Zadar and corporate events — from the first idea to the last detail. And the music comes with it.
German-Turkish, German-Arabic, German-French: I’ve played for guests from fourteen countries and know how to blend two musical worlds so both families feel at home — instead of taking turns standing on the sidelines.
So far, among others: German, Swiss, Italian, Spanish, Colombian, French, Dutch, English, Arabic, Croatian, Turkish, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese. On the mic I speak German, English and Russian.

These are just examples. Your venue isn’t listed? Then I’ll talk to them beforehand — equipment, setup times, volume and when things have to wrap up. You don’t need to sort any of that out.
Enquiries for next summer usually come in a year ahead, and some dates in 2027 are already taken. If you have a fixed date, it’s better to ask early — a “no” is quicker to write than a new date is to find.
I’ll send you a short list with three sections: must play, happy to play, never play. The third one is the most important. Everything else I decide on the night, based on the mood.
Yes, as long as they fit the evening. If you’d rather guests didn’t come up to me directly, just tell me beforehand — then I’ll kindly redirect them.
If you want me to, gladly: welcome, announcements, transitions to programme items. If not, I stay out of it completely. I’ll ask about this in our consultation so there are no surprises.
I always bring backup. A second playback device and spare cables are always in the car. In practice, nobody in the room notices when something gets swapped.
As long as you celebrate. Ten hours is a typical framework, longer nights work just as well — we’ll clarify start and end times when you enquire.
Yes. I’ve played in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy and Croatia, among others. We arrange travel and accommodation individually.
Fill in the enquiry form. With your date, venue, timeframe and number of guests, I can give you a concrete answer right away instead of asking three follow-up questions first.
Send me your date, venue and timeframe — I usually reply within 24 hours with a concrete answer.
